Details

The design of this tile is reminiscent of typically 18th-century decorative elements, although its production dates back to the 19th century. The brown scrolls enclose, in the central section, a blue enamel imitating lapis lazuli and a green enamel imitating marble, surrounded by yellow imitation marble. The decorative scheme is called "on eight," with colors ranging from black, brown, blue, green, yellow, and white. This tile belongs to the Arena collection.
